Full description
Historic England, 2023, National Heritage List for England (National Heritage List for England). SDV365228.
The Cabin, a cottage, circa early 18th century. Rendered rubble walls. Thatched roof, gabled at right-hand end and extending in catslide over left-hand end. Rendered brick stack on rubble base at right gable end. Plan: probably built as two-room plan with larger heated room to the right. 19th century outshut added at left-hand end.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical one-window front of 20th century two-light casements with another on the front of the leanto. At centre is a 20th century plank door with thatch hood above. Wide rubble buttress to its right.
Interior: Inaccessible at time of survey.
