Site of a leat shown on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance survey running west from Sandygate Mill to Abbrook Saw Mill. Later maps appear to show the wheel as being served from the Ugbrook Stream to the north.

Leat shown on 19th century map running west from Sandygate Mill at SX86787474 via a Sluice at SX86657499 to the 'aw Mill at SX86387469.
Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.
The leat to the Saw Mill appears to come straight from the Ugbrook Stream to the north on the early 20th century map.

The Water Wheel seems to be supplied with water from the Ugbrook Stream to the north on the 1930s map.
