Summary
Farmstead dating to at least the 17th century or earlier. Early historic maps show a range of farm buildings to the south-west of the farmyard, but all but one of the these has now gone and the farmhouse has been converted to cottages.

Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Wisdom depicted on the Tithe Map (677 on apportionment). Another building shown in the centre of the farmyard not depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map.

Wisdome Farm depicted on the late 19th century historic map. Farmhouse at the north-eastern corner of the farm and four other farm buildings scattered within the south-western side of the farmyard.
