Full description

English Heritage, 2012, National Heritage List for England (National Heritage List for England). SDV348729.

James headstone approximately 9 metres south of tower of Church of St. Mary. Dated 1790 in memory of John and Anne James. Granite. Upright slab with low segmental head standing approximately 900 millimetres high. The front has a simple incised frame and is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering. It records the deaths of John and Anne James in 1788 and 1790 respectively. Date listed: 16th September 1987.
