Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, Untitled Source (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV24.

Vis=16/10/1981 (os) as described above, the brick parapet now has stone coping. Generally in poor condition.

Vis=24/4/1990 (rchme) originally about 1.5m wide, now 4.6m wide. Reasonable condition. Carries single track country road (nmr citing sainsbury).

Polwhele (writing in 1797) says of this bridge, “on the Culverly is a timber-bridge, of one arch, paved with cobble-stone".
