Warberry Beacon, Torquay. It is suggested that the name is derived from Ward Burgh, meaning 'the watch hill'. Warberry Hill dominates Torbay from the north. The highest ground at 136m OD is at the edge of a steep scarp, and is now occupied by the six-arched structure of an old water tank on the northwest side of Cedars Road.
