| Summary: | Mothecombe. Marine erosion has gradually revealed an Iron Age/Dark Age site. Pottery recovered from the site has been identified as of two groups. The finds consisted firstly of Glastonbury ware and secondly of Dark Age A, B, C ware. Erosion has revealed two layers of occupation separated by a layer of sterile sand. |
