Summary:The parish church was rebuilt in the late 12th century. It is a cruciform church with a central tower planned but not carried out. The bulk of the Norman tower still stands with a 13th century top stage and a transept south of the tower. The present nave has striking arcades built, or rebuilt in the 14th century. Norman font. Remains of a rood screen used as altar rails, across the tower arch and in a war memorial.
