Summary: | Circular granite trough, leigh grange. Extant. Possibly a cider vat. Vis=-/12/1978 (robinson, r. ). A circular granite trough at leigh grange which originally came from east and west leigh in conjunction with a cider pound (possibly the vat used to catch the apple juice from the press). It lies near the house on the south east side, and is filled with earth. Diameter 113cm, thickness 13cm, depth (external) 20cm. |
