| Summary: | Wayside cross known as Windy Cross is situated 13m n of crossroads. Aligned NNW-SSE. Simple Latin cross, octagonal in section. Shaft tapers upwards and measures 0.41m long and 0.26m wide at base, decreasing to 0.28m long by 0.23m wide at head. Arms measure 0.74m wide and whole cross is 1.41m high. An OS benchmark has been inscribed on the west face, near to base. Restored in 1952. A joint is visible 0.25m above ground. |
