| Summary: | Watching brief undertaken on groundworks for development on the site of the former print works. Historic maps show buildings and gardens or yards. The print works were built between 1933 and 1952. A large rubbish pit with 19th century brick, roof tile and pottery was recorded in the northern part of the site. No deposits, features or finds dating to earlier than the 19th century were encountered during the monitoring. |
