Summary:	An evaluation was undertaken as part of a programme of archaeological works to accompany a future planning application. Evidence for prehistoric activity and the remains of a multi-phase agricultural enclosure were recorded. Numerous undated linear features were identified which may be associated with the Roman enclosure. Evidence for settlement and further enclosure in the southern part of the site could not be firmly dated but may be prehistoric in origin based on the presence of single flint flakes.
