| Summary: | This report records the excavations undertaken by Oakford Archaeology in 2012 and 2015 of the moated manor house at North Hall which had been completely lost to view for the last 300 years and which was formerly the centre and origin of the village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Devon (SX 7184 7690). The work comprised the hand-excavation of seven trenches totalling 148.2m in length and 1-1.6m wide. |
