| Summary: | Extensive shrub clearance has allowed, through map geo-referencing and on-site GPS locating, the position of the Neolithic house excavated in the 1930s to be marked by wooden stakes. Study of Lidar images has revealed the presence of an apparent earthwork crossing the ridge and cutting off the west end of the Haldon Hills at its highest point. Subsequent earthwork survey confirmed its position. |
