| Summary: | Excavation recorded a probable Romano-British farmstead comprising a roundhouse within an enclosure. Numerous pits within and adjacent to the enclosure contained mostly Romano-British or undated artefacts including pottery, worked stone, metalworking residue and metal objects. However, five of the pits contained artefacts of Late Neolithic/Early Broze Age date, including nearly 1.4kg of Beaker pottery. |
