Range of information available:

The HER contains information about terrestrial, coastal and marine sites and finds dating from the Palaeolithic to the 20th century, including historic building records and Historic Landscape Characterisation.

We hold HER reports and archives, together with an extensive library of books, national and local periodicals, a photographic collection including aerial photographs, and some historic maps.

The record may be consulted by prior appointment. Charges may be made for photocopying.

Commercial consultations will be charged an hourly rate, details of which are available on request
