More information : NY 98227590 (2) Two uninscribed, Ro. altars, and a Roman monumental slab are preserved in the grounds of Hallington Hall. (1-2) Tombstone, at "Hallington Demesne", inscribed D...... M...... ci...... t...... annis XXV ascribed to Bremenium. (3) The Ro. items at Hallington Hall comprise the published altar (see photograph), and two tombstones housed in the conservatory at NY 98257589. Only one of the latter is inscribed (barely decipherable) as noted above. See photograph. The ascription of this stone to Bremenium cannot be confirmed, and the provenance of the others is also unknown. (4)
