More information : [Area SK 98474424](1) Roman milestone, made of Ancaster stone and inscribed to Constantius and to his son, Constantine (the Great), found in 1838. It was discovered, apparently not in situ, the lower part having been broken off, with human bones, pottery, and part of a sawn-off reindeer horn, near the site of the Roman Kiln [SK 94 SE15] but on the other side, and close to the western edge, of Ermine Street.
