Summary : Roman boundary stone found in 1965, now held in Northampton Museum.
More information : A Roman boundary stone was found in 1965 at TL 005-7976
in the brook just NE (sic, NW meant) of the jucntion of the
Roman roads from Leicester to Godmanchester and from Irchester to
Water Newton. It reads P P, presumably
(terminus p(ublice) (ositus) (1)

Mr Prior (local Historian) 8 Highfield Road, Thrapston indicated
that the boundary stone came from approx TL00527968. It is now
in Northampton Museum. (2)
