Summary : Three Roman centurial stones, found in 1963 during consolidation of the Wall.

Three centurial stones were found in 1963 on the south side of Hadrian's Wall at 133 yards, 112 yards and 65 yards east of the secondary tower at Willowford Bridge. They were found during conservation work by the Ministry of Public Building Works and stored by them. (1)

Previously recorded under NY 66 NW 11. Located at NY 6235 6649 (NY 6266/44), NY 6233 6649 (NY 6266/45) and NY 6229 6648 (NY 6266/46) respectively from the above measurements. Wall consolidated. (2)
