Summary : A Second World War pillbox situated at RAF Bicester. It is of cantilevered type construction, probably built between 1940 and 1941. Along with a series of other pillboxes, it formed part of the ground defences for the airfield.
More information : The defence of Britain Database notes an extant pillbox at SP 5975 2396. This was part of the ground defences for RAF Bicester airfield. The pillbox is alleged to have been constructed in 1940-1941. It was recorded by Defence of Britain Recorder Mike Osbourne. (1)
