More information : Pen Howe (Tumulus) (NR) (1) (NZ 8565 0372) Pen Howe (NR) (NZ 8566 0369) Tumulus (NR) (2) (A) Pen Howe (name still applies) is a round barrow 19.0 m diameter and 1.4 m high, situated at NZ 8564 0372. It is heather-covered and has a flat top. About 30.0 m to the south, at NZ 8564 0369, is another smaller round barrow (B). It is heather-covered and is 12.0 m diameter by 0.5 m high. Both barrows surveyed at 1:10 000. (3) NZ 857037. Pen Howe, round barrow and adjacent round barrow Sleight's Moor. Scheduled. (4)
