Summary : Country house built in 1616 for Sir Dudley Digges. Additions and alterations were carried out between 1861-1863 to designs by David Brandon and later by Sir Herbert Baker in 1922. Built as an hexagon open to the south, with a 19th and 20th century service wing. Built of red brick with ashlar dressings and a plain tile roof.
