More information : (SE 48198986) Gallow Hill (NAT) Tumulus (NR) (1) Gallow Hill, a very prominent tumulus 60 ft diameter and 10-12 ft high with a surrounding ditch 3-5 ft wide. (2) Description correct. Surveyed at 1:10 000. (3)
SE 4819 8986. Gallow Hill round barrow. Scheduled RSM No 25512 (formerly NY/629a). The barrow stands 3.5m high with a diameter of 18m. The centre and E flank has been dug into in antiquity. It is surrounded by a ditch up to 3m wide and 0.6m deep. (4)
