Summary : Four Roman inscribed stones were found near Carville Hall before 1732.
More information : Four Roman inscribed building stones were seen at Cousin's House
(later Carville Hall) by Horsley before 1732. Two (RIB Nos 1309 and
1311) now in the Black Gate, the others (Nos 1310 and 1312) lost.
