Summary : A group of linear hollows whose date and function is uncertain. They are suggested to be the remains of quarrying of World War II military trenches.
More information : Centred at SS 7598 4274 are a group of linear hollows, reminiscent of trial pits or quarrying, and suggested by (1a) to be military trenches. On the OS 1st edition 6" mapping of 1891 (sheet Somerset XXXII SE) the same features are depicted, but not described. (1)
