More information : (SO 35816407)(2)(3) Circular mound about 4 feet high and about 32 yards in diameter at the base. About 120 yards north east (SO 3587 6418(2)) a stone of roughly oval form, 8 1/2 feet long and 2 feet high with four circular sinkings about 3 inches in diameter on the top surface. (1-3) SO 35816407: The mound described above looks like a barrow but its situation on the flood plain of the River Lugg makes this unlikely and it may well be natural. A similar mound is situated at SO 3606 6396 (SO 36 SE 10). Surveyed at 1:2500. The recumbent stone has now been moved to SO 36076405 and the cup marks are on the under side and cannot be seen. There is still a slight hollow at SO 35876418 where the stone was removed from some 6 months ago.(a) (4)
