Summary : An edge set stone visible as a single slab measuring 0.45m long, 0.0m wide and 0.12m high. It is possibly associated with the nearby stone setting or may have been used as a temporary boundary marker.
More information : An edge set stone was found during field reconnaissance at SS 83280 43839. It comprises a single slab, measuring 0.45 m long, 0.08 m wide and 0.12 m high; it is oriented north-west to south-east.
It may be assocaited with the stone setting SS 84 SW 27, which lies some 95 m to the south-east. It should also be noted that it lies very close to the Porlock parish boundary, and it may have been set up as a temporary marker for this purpose.
