Summary : An irregular stony mound on Porlock Common measuring 7.5m by c. 2m is probably associated with post medieval peat extraction.
More information : An irregular, stony mound lies on Porlock Allottment at SS 84930 44896. It measures 7.5m N-S and 1.5-2m E-W. It lies on the edge of an area of peat peat cutting and is probably associated with this activity. It was surveyed using GPS as part of the East Exmoor Project (1).
