Summary : Cist and traces of cairn on the hillside above the right bank of the Aller Brook. The cist is orientated WNW-ESE and measures 1m by 0.5m with some retaining stones visible.
More information : SX 67007100. Cist oriented WNW-ESE measuring 1.0m by 0.5m with some stones of the retaining circle still apparent (Butler 1993, 181-2). (1)

SX 67007100. The cist is as described and surveyed by Butler. Faint traces of the enclosing cairn are still visible as ground remains. However, it is difficult to confirm the interpretation of the three recumbant stones lying in an arc around the cist as the vestiges of a kerb.
