Summary : A small square building shown on the 6" map of 1962 to the south of Parsonage Farm has been interpreted as the remains of an anti-aircraft battery. Now recorded under SS 84 NW 53.
More information : A small square building shown on the 6" map of 1962 to the south of Parsonage Farm has been interpreted as the remains of an anti-aircraft battery. The remains include several brick and concrete buildings and the remains of a gun mounting with the ironwork lying on the side of one of the buildings. There are also several areas which appeared to have been further sites of buildings. (1 and 2)

Now recorded under SS 84 NW 53.
