Summary : Findspots of two Roman altars dedicated to Dolichenus from Great Chesters; one was discovered before 1716 and is now in the Chapter Library, Durham; the other, found in 1897, is in Museum of Antiquities, Newcastle.
More information : [NY 70376680] A dolichenum at Great Chesters, is attested by the discovery of two altars. (1)

One (No. 1725) found in 1897, is now in the Museum of Antiquities, Newcastle and the other (No. 1726) found before 1716, is in the Chapter Library, Durham. (2)
