Summary : Late 16th century timber framed house of two-storeys with a tiled roof. The top storey and the north range were added in the first half of the 17th century. The top and the first floor project and have moulded bressummers. In 1820 a range facing Worcester Road was added, the ground floor is of brick with timber framing above. At the end of this elevation are two overhanging timber framed gables with oriels and octagonal turrets with lead clad ogee-shaped domes. |
More information : (SO 71183753) Ledbury Park. The earliest part of the house is the late C16th W range. In the first half of the C17th the top storey was added and the N range built. The S front of the main block was rebuilt in 1820 and there are modern additions including an extension of the N range and the addition of the E range.
