More information : Abbey House, No 37 The Homend (east side, SO 71033787) was built circa 1600; it is timber framed, of two storeys and attics and a slate roof with gable ends. The first floor overhangs and there is a narrow two storeyed bay in the centre which was originally only on the first floor. It has an 18th century flush panelled door with steps with iron hand railing and a later 18th century extension to the right of red brick with Victorian timber framed two storey bay. (1,2)
