More information : [NT 80363878] Carham Hall on site of [T. I.] Tower [N.R.] (1) The tower was built in the 13th century, and probably rebuilt, several times later. No trace of it remains, and the present Carham Hall is on its site. (2) Referred to, in 1541, as a "little tower without barmkin or gate". (3)

A tower was apparently not provided until the Prior of Kirkham Priory provided on in the early 1500s. It lasted less than 50 years. (5)
