Summary : Mansion built circa 1835, designed by John Clark. Ashlar, slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 x 3 bays, the house is of neo-classical style with broad corner pilasters and rusticated centre. The interior has a fine divided staircase. Formerly the home of Lord Brotherton, of Leeds University library fame, now a private hospital.
