Summary : The earthwork remains of a water meadow system associated with the deserted Medieval farmstead of Lype.
More information : The earthwork remains of a water meadow system centred at SS 9544 3767 which is presumed to be associated with the deserted Medieval farmstead of Lype (SS 93 NE 24). The water meadow survives as a number of parallel ditches running along the slope. The ditches were seen as earthworks and mapped from aerial photographs. (1)
