Summary : Modern garage entrance under a half timbered upper storey with workshop windows and two dressed stone pilasters with 18th century stone pinacles flanking the front. In the late 18th century the building was in use as a carriage works. This was the premises of the New Pick Motor company between 1904 and 1925. The building to the South is a two storey modern building in 18th century style built of coursed rubble with stone quoins. Set in the West wall is a pre-decimal currrency stamp dispensing machine. The building has a right hand return to Barnack Road. |
