The course of the road is recorded from aerial photographs at a scale of 1:10000 as part of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site Mapping Project. The road is visible as a sharply defined feature highlighted under a light cover of snow between NY 7100 6598 and NY 7114 6600. (2)
