Summary : House, early-mid 19th century, constructed from brick, pebbledashed and colourwashed, with a pantiled roof. It is of two storeys with a two window front and a central gabled porch. To either corner are buttresses with offsets. The house was one of a series of small houses Gothicised or built in the Gothick style by the Sykes family of West Ella Hall in the early-mid 19th century. |
