Primitive Methodist Chapel

Summary : Former Congregational chapel built in 1842, the interior was altered in the late 19th century and the building was converted into a school library on 1971. Built of yellow brick, except for the west side which is red brick, wtih rendered dressings and a slate roof. The south front has three pedimented bays with brick terminal pilasters and rendered and tapered intermediate pilasters with two tiers of windows with tapered architraves and a matching doorway. Now converted to a school library.
