Wesleyan Centenary Chapel

Summary : Wesleyan Methodist chapel built in 1839. The chapel is built of brown brick with a hipped slate roof, it is of two storeys with a three bay front with two tiers of windows between terminal pilasters. There wer originally two round-arched doorways but these have been converted into windows and the former large circular window between the two has become a doorway. The upper windows are round-arched. The chapel contains a horseshoe-shaped gallery, with a complete set of box pews, ad a slightly lower singers gallery behind the pulpit. The lower seating and rostrum pulpit date from the late 19th century.
