Summary : Site of Second World War heavy anti aircraft battery ZS7 at Avery Hill Park, Eltham. It was listed as unarmed in 1942. It was manned by 298 Battery of the 97th Royal Artillery Regiment in January 1940, by 162 (P) Battery of the 54th Royal Artillery Regiment in May 1940, by 394 Battery of the 164th Royal Artillery Regiment in July 1942. The Home Guard manned the battery in October 1942.
