Summary : Site of Second World War heavy anti-aircraft battery ZE10 at Highams, Walthamstow. It was armed with four 3.7-inch static guns with GL Mark IA radar in 1942. It was manned by 248 Battery of the 120th Royal Artillery Regiment in 1942, and by 530 Battery of the 156th Mobile Royal Artillery Regiment in 1942-3. It was retained as a Nucleus Force Headquarters Battery after the war.
