Summary : Railway viaduct built in 1862 on the Border Counties Railway, no longer in use. It was built to carry the railway across the Kielder Burn and employed the skew arch form of construction.
More information : NY 6321 9241. Kielder Viaduct. Construced in 1862 by P Nicholson and now preserved by the Northumberland and Newcastle Society. Finest surviving example of the skew arch form of construction. (1)
