The medieval/post medieval clunch pit is visible as earthworks on 2010 lidar, centred at TL 4082 5174. It is recorded as being in use since at least the 13th century and was described as 'old', suggesting disuse, by 1887. Some of the northern earthworks are denuded. (2-4) |
