Summary : Site of Second World War heavy anti-aircraft battery at Perry Park. It is documented as extant in 1940 when it was armed with four 4.5-inch guns and GL Mark II radar, and was manned by 346 Battery of the 95th Royal Artillery Regiment. In 1945 it was armed with four 3.7-inch Mark VI guns and four 3.7-inch Mark IIIs, and was manned by the 5th Battery of the 4th (Mobile) Royal Artillery Regiment. In 1946 its Nucleus Status was as a Nucleus Force Battery Headquarters permanently gunned site. There are no remains.
