Summary : The site of two blast iron furnaces and slag heaps located on the south west bank of the Murk Esk at Beck Hole. The iron workings were constructed during 1860 and the site was out of use by 1864.

The iron workings were constructed during 1860 and the site was out of use by 1864. The site is visible in the pasture and scrub but further research is needed before protection can be recommended.
