Turret 41B, located by exploratory excavation in 1912 is beyond Thorny Doors Gap. (2-3)
No visible remains. (4)
Miss D. Charlesworth excavating for Ministry of Public Buildings and Works in 1967 found no trace of this turret. It is suggested that it was probably treated in the same manner as 41A; that is demolished, probably under Severus and the Wall rebuilt across its site. (5)
The turret was located and excavated in 1912, 558 yards from milecastle 42 (6a). There are no visible remains of the turret in area NY 7205 6683. (6)
