Summary : Second World War concrete anti-tank 'pimples' by the railway track (Monument 1545587, 1545591) West of bridge, North of Hoo St. Werburgh adjacent to Lodge Hill Ordnance Depot (Monument 1077634) were noted by the Defence of Britain Project. One small round concrete structure has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The anti tank obstruction was probably part of the in depth defences associated with the Hoo Stop Line (Monument 1542577, 1542630, 1542646),

TQ 77397 73933. One small round concrete structure has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The Second World War anti tank obstruction was probably part of the in depth defences associated with the Hoo Stop Line (Monument 1542577, 1542630, 1542646). The structure recorded here is located alongside a military railway (Monument 1545587, 1545591), near the entrance of the Lodge Hill Ordnance Depot (Monument 1077634). (2-3)
